What We Do

IAA conducts weekly auctions in six languages (English, Spanish, French, Polish, Russian and Mandarin Chinese), live at more than 165 North American locations, and simulcast live on the Internet. On average, over 29,000 vehicles are checked-in, inventoried, stored and set for sale each week at IAA branches. In 2014, IAA sold nearly 1.7 million vehicles to buyers around the globe.

Since 2007, John is responsible for IAA's patented hybrid auction platform which allows wireless data and streaming audio technologies across the Internet, all software development, information services functions, computer operations and telecommunications. Previously, Mr. Krupnik served as IAA's IT director of infrastructure and operations. Prior to joining IAA in 2002, he was the IT Director at One, Inc., and has held various positions at Ameritech including project manager during the SBC acquisition of Ameritech.

John holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Maju joined IAA in 2005, and since then has contributed in numerous Application Development roles focused on transformation of Development Teams. Maju manages the product delivery of all Buyer facing products, Enterprise Applications, Mobile Products, Enterprise Architecture and the Innovation Team. He also collaborates with a number of software partners and supports weekly vehicle auctions at more than 160 locations in North America.

Rob is responsible for the data centers, information security, compliance, IT operations, branch infrastructure and support for more than 160 locations in North America. He joined the company in 2010 managing the Business Intelligence team. Prior to joining IAA, Rob has held various positions with Accenture and Slalom Consulting implementing enterprise systems at Fortune 100 clients. He started his career as a commissioned Naval Officer conducting multiple overseas deployments on US warships and as a staff officer in the Pentagon.

Rob holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the US Naval Academy and master's degree in the management of information systems from the George Washington University.

Surya joined IAA in 2006 and since then has contributed to the maintenance and modernization of the company’s primary enterprise application used at the branches and its integration with the financial accounting software. Surya is responsible for IAA’s enterprise application, as well as the Release Management and TFS teams. Prior to joining IAA, Surya worked 10 years as a consultant contributing to projects in various industries including banking, telecommunication, streaming media, e-commerce, food, auto and insurance services.

Surya holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Indiana University, Bloomington

Murali joined IAA in 2003, and since then has contributed to the development of numerous application with quality, innovation, and risk-taking. Introduced complete imaging solution from image capturing, managing, and supporting enterprise wide service for high resolution images, with phenomenal performance and user experience. Murali leads the adoption of mobile technology and leads the organization for award winning Mobile Apps for buyers, customers, vendors, and enterprise users. He works with multiple vendors on the rollout of enterprise mobile devices with MDM to support continuous mobile device activities of 1000+ field users.

Michael joined IAA in 2013, and since then managed a number of teams that enhanced the delivery of services to the IAA environment. Prior to joining IAA, Michael held various positions with IBM and other Fortune 100 organizations implementing enterprise systems and solutions.

Michael's passion to learn and adopt technology while helping to deliver quality products and services has help drive solutions. Michael is accountable for IAA teams that provide IT services and applications to meet provider needs.

Subbu joined IAA in 2016 and is responsible for Finance teams. Prior to joining IAA, he held various positions with Sogeti, SEI and Cognizant Tech consulting organizations.

Subbu has a long experience with IAA and the Insurance industry. Since 2001 he has played a critical role in designing and implementing solutions for enterprise notably Buyer facing and Auction applications. He managed offshore delivery overseeing different work streams and support organization's continued evolution to a 'We Deliver' model.
